English version
Born in Verdun in 1970, I spent my childhood in Mercier. Already at that young age I favour my water-colour pastilles and my coloured pencils to regular toys. My childhood was rich in learning experiences. My parents having detected in me a certain talent in art, I took different art courses (oil, charcoal, and drawing). As far as I can remember I’ve always had a paintbrush or pencils in my hands.
Two persons really influenced my artistic progression, Mrs Giacomo Donato and Mrs Yolande Charlier. Today I work in my workshop in Ste-Martine, surrounded by soft music. This ambiance suits well my creativity.
Nature lover, flowers and old houses constitute mostly my topics for my paintings. I have a passion for colors and textures and they guide my inspiration.
I work with oil, water-colour, and ink, driven by the inspiration of the moment. The different textures and reliefs, with which I create, bring a lively touch to my mix media work.
